Perhaps

Perhaps we could look at things differently, muses our Ian Gilbert

Perhaps the best teacher doesn't get the best grades

Perhaps the child with the best grades isn't the smartest in the class

Perhaps the child with lowest marks tried the hardest

Perhaps the child with highest marks didn't really try at all

Perhaps the school with the best results isn't the best school

Perhaps the school with the worst results isn't the worst school

Perhaps the school with the most exclusions doesn't have the best discipline

Perhaps continually getting top grades is the worst things a child can do

Perhaps failing sometimes is more important than succeeding all the time

Perhaps the quietest child is the one who needs listening to the most

Perhaps.
