A Conversation About Curiosity and Wonder
How do you tap into the power of curiosity, awe and wonder in the classroom?
How do you go about using curiosity and wonder to improve engagement and raise achievement in the classroom?
We had a chat with Dr Matthew McFall whose (second) doctorate is all about the power of curiosity and wonder in the classroom along with former headteacher Dave Harris who employed Matthew as the UK's first school-based 'Agent of Wonder'.
Together they set up a Wonder Room in the school, drawing on the centuries old tradition of the Cabinet of Curiosities. In the words of this The Guardian article about the project, 'Every school should have one'.
